Hi! My name is Andrew Samuels and I am currently a teacher at Rowntree Montessori School. I am looking to help children excel not just academically but in all aspects. I attended Coffeyville Community College (CCC), and graduated with an Associates Degree in Science, in 2016. I then spent the following two years at Florida International University (FIU), and obtained my Bachelor Degree of Arts in Psychology, in 2018. I am currently employed at Rowntree Monessori School where I am working as a Physical Education Teacher, and an Athletic Director. In addition to working at Rowntree Montessori School, I am also a part time Instructor Therapist at Papillion Learning Centre. I am committed to helping students academically, so that they may build a foundation to achieve success in all aspects of their life.
Working at Rowntree Montessori, Papillion Learning Centre, and United Achievers Summer Camp has taught me a lot about how each child’s learning style is as unique as they are. A child’s learning style is influenced by their likes and dislikes, as well as their comfort level with their person they are working with. I believe in having an interpersonal relationship with the child in order to advance their academic progress and life goals. If I can understand how the children I work with operate, it makes their learning experience better.
